How to Play Dock Fight

Dock Fight is a push-your-luck, Stringer-building, light take-that card game. Players draw cards into a temporary Cast, decide when to bank cards safely, and compete to hold Fisherman Frank while building three locked Stringers.

Goal

Build 3 Stringers, which are 3-of-a-kind Day numbers, and hold Fisherman Frank to win.

Setup

Shuffle the Dock Fight deck. Put Fisherman Frank where everyone can reach him. Deal or draw according to the included helper cards.

Your Turn

Choose HIT to draw cards into your Cast or STOP to bank the cards safely into your Livewell.

Bust

If you draw a duplicate Day number into your Cast, you BUST and lose your entire Cast. Fisherman Frank returns to the Dock.

Burn 3

Use BURN 3 to spend three matching cards from your Livewell or Broken Hauls for a table-swinging move: Swipe Fisherman Frank from an opponent or Cut a Stringer.

Stringers

Stringers are points. Broken Hauls are fuel. Stringers are locked once laid down and cannot be Burned.

Winning

The first player with 3 completed Stringers who also holds Fisherman Frank wins Dock Fight.
